Simple. The Periodical Song is a randomly-updated sort of "daily-song" sort of thing. The only difference is that it's periodically updated; somewhat randomly, if you will. The Periodical Song will display my song choice for a given day. It is not meant to reflect 'recommended' songs for anyone.. just my current 'this song is awesome' selection.
I will attempt to make sure that there is at least one update every week; I'll also try to limit myself to one song per day.
